DAY 01: MANADO ARRIVAL – TANGKOKO NATURE RESERVE

Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, you will be picked up and meeting service by our guides. Drive to Tangkoko for two hours to reach Tangkoko Nature Reserve. Arrive in Tangkoko, welcome drink with fresh coconut, check in at Home Stay. If time allow we can have afternoon trekking(latest on 17:00) to reach the Tarsiers’ nest by the time they leave their nest for their nocturnal activities. Dinner in Home Stay with grilled fish and delicious dishes.


DAY 02: TANGKOKO EXPLORE – MINAHASA HIGHLAND – TOMOHON

Wake up very early, we have hot tea and coffee. Begin trekking before sunrise, early in the morning to the jungle to see the Tarsier Spectrum set back home after their nocturnal activities. As well as some groups of Macaca Nigra move around the forest for their morning activities.

Return to Homestay for breakfast and shower. After breakfast we will check out the hotel and leaving Tangkoko. We then proceed to the highland of Minahasa with some stop at ancient Tomb of Minahasa People (Giant Stone Ages), and the historical World War II Japanese Tunnel System. Lunch will be in a restaurant by the Tondano Lake. After lunch we will enjoy the wonderful lake scenery from the Urongo On Hill Tree House. The journey continue to visit the hot spring and pine forest of Lampasan before chilling down at the beautiful multi color of Linaw Lake to enjoy the afternoon in cozy restaurant by the lake sipping coffee with traditional famous snack of Pisang Goreng (fried banana) and another traditional cookies. Tonight we spend the night in a nice hotel in this cool town of Tomohon and dinner in a local restaurant with traditional Minahasa cuisine with the view of Manado city


DAY 03: TOMOHON – MAHAWU – TRADITIONAL MARKET – MANADO

After breakfast at hotel, we start the tour visiting the traditional market of Tomohon where there is a section of the market called as Extreme Market where we can see many kind of mammals and reptiles sold as Minahasan delicacy. We then proceed to Mt. Mahawu crater. 10 minutes trekking to the top of the crater we will enjoying magnificent view of cities of Tomohon and Manado and the islands beyond. We then visit the centre of knock-down Traditional house industry with some stop at Pagoda Budhist Temple with the flowers plantation surround. After lunch in Tomohon, we move down to the coastal town of Manado with some stop at iconic Jesus Blessing Statue, Ban hin Kiong Temple in China town and Second World War Monument . Tonight we spend the night in a nice hotel in Manado. Dinner in a restaurant with beach view.


DAY 04: MANADO – MAKASSAR – TORAJA LAND

At the appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport for morning flight to Makassar. Upon arrival at Makassar Airport, meeting service and then transfer to Toraja by Fully Air-conditioned private Minibus or Car to take a drive-tripto Toraja Land with appproximately 8 hours trip taking across the Bugis Vilage with their typical houses on poles along the magnificent mountain passes. Lunch will be served at Bukit Indah Restaurant in Pare-Pare, a small port situated 155 kms north of Makassar. Late afternoon arrive in Toraja directly check-in at hotel for accommodation.


DAY 05: TORAJA TOUR

After breakfast at hotel, we will conduct a visit to the royal family tombs at Suaya, the cliff side stone grave with wooden effigies ''tau - tau " on the balcony at Lemo, the baby's graves in the huge tree at Kambira. This way of tombs making is the only one in the archipelago, the Torajan do not bury their corps on earth, but on the stone hole, cave or alike. Before the died body placed in such place, it has to be put in the Tongkonan (the clan house) as they believe that, the died person would not leaving them as long as the body is still at home. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with ricefield side view. After lunch, the next interesting place to visit are Londa, the natural cave grave, and Kete Kesu, traditional wooden carving village and hanging grave.


DAY 06: TORAJA TOUR

Visiting Palawa, a village with the beautiful scenery of the Toraja family houses ' Tongkonan', and a number of buffalo's horns decorated to the front of their houses, Sa' dan To'Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village, Batutumonga, the highland area And the beautiful landscape of 1355 meters high, which has temperature 17o C in the daytime and lunch will be served in here, Lo' ko mata, the graves on the rocky slope, Which mean, the hole of the grave seems like an eye. And then trekking from Pana to Tikala, more fascinating spot that can be seen along the way.


DAY 07: TORAJA – MAKASSAR AIRPORT – DEPARTURE

After breakfast we drive back Makassar with stop en route for lunch and refreshment. Arrive Makassar Airport in the afternoon for your flight to next destination. END OF SERVICE.
