Kindly be informed that our Round trip packages contains main tourist attractions in several islands, as you might be aware that Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world. The mode of transportation to reach one island to another is by airplane. The public ferry boat only connect the two island adjacent.
Day 1: ARRIVAL JAKARTA – HOTEL.
Upon your arrival at Jakarta airport, our guide will pick up and transfer you to the hotel for rest and overnight. Hotel plan FM7 HOTEL & RESORT or similar.
Day 2: JAKARTA FLY TO PANGKALAN BUN - ARRIVAL PANGKALAN BUN – ORANGUTAN (B,L,D)
After breakfast, check out then the hotel staff will transfer to airport for your flight to Pangkalan Bun. Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat size 2,25 m x 15 m for 5 person and the big one size 3,5 x 19 meter for 8 – 10 person (many past tourists of us call it "African Queen" river boat style) with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Meals and overnight on the boat.
Day 3: ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION (B,L,D)
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans used to be were reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tanguy, the former rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans. At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide and the forestry rangers to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch provided on boat. Afternoon visit the feeding station to see rehabilitate orangutans are given additional foods. Meals provide on the boat. Overnight at the boat.
Day 4: ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION (B,L,D).
Morning breakfast, another day at the park you will explore deeper in the jungle, trekking in the different trails, and you may encounter different orangutans and other wildlife, tropical rain forest of Borneo, and different beauty of nature. We can guarantee that the tropical rain forest of Borneo and its natural beauty will spoil and make your best of life time adventure experience. Meals served on the boat. Overnight at the boat.
Day 5: ORANGUTAN EXPLORATION – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT – SEMARANG - YOGYAKARTA (B)
Breakfast on the boat and then return to Pangkalan Bun airport for catching flight to Semarang. Upon arrival at Semarang then we will continue drive about 4 hour to reach Yogyakarta. Rest and overnight at hotel in Yogyakarta. Hotel plan : ....
Day 6: YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR – BOROBUDUR TEMPLE – HOTEL (B).
We start the trip for Yogyakarta city tour. Visit Sultan Royal Palace, Water Castle (Taman Sari), Batik Home Industry and Silverware at Kotagede. Afterward we discovery of history of Borobudur Temple, the most famous of Indonesia's temples. This huge Buddhist pyramid is a Buddhism's largest shrine in Indonesia, built in the 9th century. Located north west of Jogjakarta, Borobudur was completed in the second half of the ninth century. Borobudur was unknown and neglected for almost a thousand years, covered under thick layers of volcanic ash. From a far Borobudur looks like a huge but ordinary stone construction. But from nearby we can see that it consists of hundreds of wonderfully detailed statues and sculptures, representing Buddhist teachings mixed with images of Javanese life of a thousand years ago. We will also visit the mendut temple, 2.9 km east of Borobudur discovered in 1834. Return to the hotel.
Day 7: YOGYAKARTA – PRAMBANAN – SOLO CITY TOUR (B).
Having breakfast at hotel, before we transfer you to the airport we will visit Prambanan temple. Prambanan temple is one of the most beautiful Hindus temple of Indonesia with such great sculptures all over the building, the local peoples also called the temple as the Roro Jonggrang, the temple of the slender virgin. According to the local believe, the temple was a beautiful virgin who was cursed after ignoring her promise. Afterward we drive to Solo and visit Mangkunegoro Palace, Antique Market and Radya Pustaka Museum then overnight there. Hotel plan SOLO PARAGON or similar.
Day 8: SOLO – BROMO (B) approximately 10 hrs drive.
Breakfast at hotel then we drive to Bromo. On the way we will Afterward visit Bajang Ratu and Tikus temple, Tikus temple - is located about 500 meters south east of Bajang Ratu temple. Restored to its present condition between the years 1985 and 1989, the site comprises the remains of an ancient ritual bathing place (petirtaan) dating from the Majapahit period. Overnight at lodge in Bromo. Lodge plan LAVA VIEW or similar.
Day 9: BROMO SUNRISE – SURABYA AIRPORT – FLY TO MAKASSAR (B).
You will be wake up at 03.00 o'clock in the morning, have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for a short drive - 3 kilometers only - to Pananjakan. The last 1.5 kilometers you walk to the highest viewpoint in the area to see the sunrise. But, of course, whether you are able to see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then we will descend to sea of sand to see the crater of mount Bromo. Afterwards we go back to the hotel to have breakfast. Then transfer to Surabaya airport for your flight to Makassar. Overnight at hotel in Makassar.
Day 10: MAKASSAR – RANTEPAO, TORAJA (B,L) approximately 8 hrs drive.
Breakfast at hotel then we take a drive-trip to Toraja Land with approximately 8 hours trip taking across the Bugis Village with their typical houses on poles along the magnificent mountain passes. We will passing Pare-Pare, a small port situated 155 Km north of Makassar, lunch at local restaurant. Late afternoon arrive in Toraja directly check-in at hotel for accommodation. Day 11: RANTEPAO, TORAJA TOUR (B,L)
After breakfast at hotel, we will transfer in to Toraja Highland visit to the royal family tombs at Suaya, the cliff side stone grave with wooden effigies ''tau - tau" on the balcony at Lemo, the baby's graves in the huge tree at Kambira. This way of tombs making is the only one in the archipelago, the Torajan do not bury their corps on earth, but on the stone hole , cave or alike. Before the dead body placed in such place, it has to be put in the Tongkonan (the clan house) as they believe that, the dead would not leaving them as long as the body is still at home. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with rice field side view. After lunch, the next interesting place to visit are Londa, the natural cave grave, and Kete Kesu, traditional wooden carving village and hanging grave.
Day 12: RANTEPAO, TORAJA TOUR (B,L)
Visiting Palawa, a village with the beautiful scenery of the Toraja family houses 'Tongkonan', and a number of buffalo's horns decorated to the front of their houses, Sa'dan To'Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village, Batutumonga, the highland area And the beautiful landscape of 1355 meters high, which has temperature 17 Celsius degree in the daytime and lunch will be served in here, Lo' ko mata, the graves on the rocky slope, Which mean, the hole of the grave seems like an eye. And then trekking from Pana to Tikala, more fascinating spot that can be seen along the way.
Day 13: TORAJA – SENGKANG (B,L) approximately 6 hrs drive.
Drive to Sengkang, a small city to the south of Rantepao. We will need approximately 6 hrs drive. Sengkang is a cool mountainous city in the hinterland of South Sulawesi. Not too far from the small city, is a small preserved lake with various kinds of birds and floating houses. we will paddle the dugout canoe to reach the center of the lake and to pay a visit to the local people dwelling. In the clear weather, the beautiful sunset is another attraction. Overnight at a small but clean and comfortable hotel in Sengkang. Hotel plan BBC HOTEL SENGKANG or similar.
Day 14: SENGKANG – BIRA BEACH (B,L) approximately 6 hrs drive.
Breakfast at hotel then check out. Today we drive you to the beautiful Bira beach where you could enjoy some relax, swimming on the beach, and else. Hotel plan BARA BEACH HOTEL or similar.
Day 15: BIRA BEACH – FREE PROGRAM (B).
Free program for rest and relax. Lunch and dinner excluded.
After breakfast at hotel in Bira, drive to the coast of South Sulawesi to reach Makassar to catch your flight to Bali. Check in to a beach hotel in Kuta area.
Day 17: DENPASAR FLY TO LABUAN BAJO - ARRIVAL LABUAN BAJO – HARBOR - BIDADARI ISLAND – KALONG ISLAND in RINCA (B,L,D).
Breakfast at hotel then fly to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival at Labuan Bajo Airport, you will be met by our local staff and with a private car take short drive to the harbor to board on your boat and cruise to Bidadari island, in this island you can do snorkeling (if time permit). From Bidadari island we will then proceed boating to Kalong Island, a small island covered by the mangrove trees surround the island and is the ideal habitat for the bats (flying foxes). In the late afternoon you will enjoy spectacular view when thousand of bats flying out from the island in searching for food. Adventurous, healthy and fresh dinner will be prepared for you before you sleep on boat.
Day 18: KALONG ISLAND – RINCA – KOMODO ISLAND (B,L,D).
There are many tiny islands in the Komodo National Park. You only visit some of them. In the morning set sail to Rinca, a safari like island with savannah dominated landscape and home for hundreds or may be thousands of deer, wild horses, water buffaloes, monkeys and of course the top predator - the Komodo Dragon. To explore the island you need to follow the trail about three to five km. After a hot trek on the island, get yourself refreshed by swimming and snorkeling or just relaxing on the white sand beach in the neighboring empty isle. Meals on board. Continue sail to Komodo and overnight on boat.
Day 19: KOMODO ISLAND – PINK BEACH – BATU CERMIN CAVE – LABUAN BAJO (B,L).
In the morning, follow the trail to reach Banunggulung the former feeding ground to watch the Komodo Dragons. It is about two km one-way walking. About afternoon sail to Pantai Merah - the pink colored sand beach - with beautiful coral garden, good for swimming and snorkeling. Lunch on board. Afternoon return to Labuan Bajo, en route stop at one of several occupied islands to visit the home of the seafaring tribes. Arrive in Labuan Bajo harbor we visit the famous Batu Cermin Cave. Batu Cermin is the Indonesian name for Mirror Rock. Shown is the limestone Mirror Rock that gives this outcrop its name. Afterward transfer you to the hotel for rest and overnight.
Day 20: LABUAN BAJO – RUTENG (B).
After breakfast then drive to Ruteng. En route visit Cara village where one can witness Lingko - the spider web shaped rice fields. Overnight at PONDOK SUSTERAN or similar.
Day 21: RUTENG - BAJAWA (B).
Ruteng is a small town in the backbone of Flores and neighbor to the Ruteng Nature Conservation Park - the home of Ngkiong - the endemic singing birds. It is worth to visit the Park early in the morning to attend the nature's concert of singing birds (if no rain and strong wind). There is also a newly popped up volcano in the park. Take your chance to have a closer look into it. Continue afterwards to Bajawa with beautiful panoramic views. Take your chance for photo stops. The first stop will be at Ranamese - a crater lake with cloud forest. Lunch on personal expense in Bajawa. Afternoon visit Naru village with huge megalithic monuments and Wogo one of the big traditional village of Ngadha ethnic. Overnight at SILVER INN or similar.
Day 22: BAJAWA - BENA - RIUNG (B)
After breakfast, excursion to Bena passing through huge and gigantic bamboo plantation, picture Inerie volcano and take short walks in the vicinity. Arrive in Bena, see traditional houses and megalithic tombs, learn the meaning of Ngadhu and Bhaga symbolizing male and female of ancestral spirit. Back to Bajawa. Drive to Soa en route stop in Naru a village with huge megalithic monuments, arrive in Soa visit Mengeruda a hot water spring to dip in for relaxation. Proceed then to Riung. Overnight at Pondok SVD or similar.
Day 23: RIUNG - ENDE – MONI (B)
There is Nature Conservation Park in Riung mainly to protect the underwater ecosystem. Take your chance to explore the small isles off shore - known for the beautiful coral gardens with white sand beach. There is an island with unspoiled mangrove forests inhabited by thousands of huge fruit eating bats. Take your chance to explore the Park in half day program. Proceed afterwards to Ende with stop at Penggajawa beach - where people collecting blue pebble for interinsuler trading. Upon arrival in Ende drive towards Nuabosi until reach the vantage point to enjoy an aerial view of Ende town which is fortified with volcanoes and beautifully located in south coast of Flores. Day 24: MONI - KELIMUTU – ENDE – FLY TO BALI - HOTEL (B)
Early morning drive up to the three colored lake of Kelimutu, one of the Indonesia's most mysterious and dramatic sights. The three lakes, set in deep craters at a height of 1,600m. Down to Moni for breakfast, then continue to Ende airport. Fly to Bali and overnight.
Day 25: BEDUGUL – ULUN DANU TEMPLE (LAKE BERATAN) – JATILUWIH - TAMAN AYUN TEMPLE - TANAH LOT (B).
In the morning after breakfast we’ll pick you then go to Bedugul. Upon arrival at Bedugul located on the shore of Lake Beratan, you can enjoy the cool mountain breeze and visit the Ulun Danu Temple. Then our next object is Jatiluwih rice terrace. Find a marvelous scenery of a wide rice terrace, view of Tabanan city and a view of mountain on your left side. Afterward visit a beautiful Taman Ayun Temple which is dated back from The Royal Mengwi Dynasty. Have lunch with own expense at local restaurant. And our last is Tanah Lot Temple placed on a huge rock surrounded by sea and an ideal place to see the sunset.
Day 26: ULUWATU TEMPLE – KECAK DANCE – JIMBARAN BEACH DINNER (B,D).
After having breakfast at your hotel, free time till around 15.00. We’ll pick you up and transfer you to Uluwatu Temple located in south Bali. Situated about 70m on the cliff overlooking the bay. From there watch the rough seas of the Indian ocean rush forward, hitting the rocks beneath the cliff, and in the background. We will proceed to enjoy the Traditional Kecak Dance, a dramatic performance lasting about 45 minutes, where 25-50 dancers chant “cak” and throw up their arms, depicting a battle from the Ramayana where monkeys help Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. The dance will be performed on an open stage on a cliff in Uluwatu Temple complex, and in the background, a beautiful sunset colors the sky orange as it slowly disappears away, replaced by the moon at night. Proceed to the famous Jimbaran Beach for having dinner right on the beach sand of Jimbaran Beach. Taste the grilled fish on the sand of a open-air beachfront cafe. Feel the atmosphere!
Day 27: BALI DEPARTURE – NEXT DESTINATION (B).
Breakfast at hotel, check out time at 12:00 at noon. Transfer to airport for your flight to next destination. TOURS END.
